Anyone not at our gig at The Jericho Tavern last tuesday missed a storming night. With a high calibre of supporting acts, it was a night of top-class music. Shirley unveiled new hit 'Heavy Love' to the rapturous delight of the audience. Old live favourite 'Dancing Shoes' found its way back into the set, having been given an overhaul in rehearsal. With a strong American contingent in attendance, we are hoping the Shirley buzz will soon reach the other side of the pond.

Shirley are back in the studio in Sept for what should be a final recording session for our debut album to be released later this year by Zerodb Records.

The band have been extremely lucky to procure the services of top Music Video producer Gabriel Cocozza for work on the forthcoming video to 'Shanghai My Heart'

What's Up Doc?

Ex-drummer Doc's been off the radar for a while, but he recently got in touch. Doc's been awarded a grant to look at the transmission of mad cow disease and is trying to forge links with groups in La Jolla, California. Science with surfa!
