Jan got to meet Adam Ant recently at his book launch at Borders. (Adam's, not Jan's!) Undeterred by Borders policy of having to buy something (Jan already had bought Adam's autobiography) Jan decided to attend undercover, posing as a press photographer. Adam responded well to Jan's pose prompting and even managed a museful smile. An honour to be in the close proximity of such a musical innovator.

Our album has now reached the final mix stage and mightily proud of it we are. Tracks for the album are - Heavy Love, Like a Man, Bandido d'armour, Try, Shanghai my Heart, Susan's Garden Shed, Pretty, Beautiful Sober, Hungover Again and Dancing Shoes. As soon as we have a release date we'll let you know.

A lot of People have been asking us...

How we'll deal with the increased attention once the album's out. We feel lessons can be learnt from the unfortunate plight of the rare rose starling that recently landed in Carole Barnes' garden in Norfolk. After flying some 3000 miles from Asia the poor little chap just wanted a bit of a rest and some food. An enthusiastic army of twitchers were soon on the scene and hounded the bird for a couple of days. The neighbour's cat had a go as well. Wielding long-lens cameras they overlooked the frailty of the starling (Sturnus Roseus) to the point where it died of exhaustion. RSPB spokesman Chris Durdin summed it up well 'Sometimes people just get carried away'.
