Silvanito Nights @ The Jericho Tavern
Our next night at The Jericho Tavern is Sunday 31st May. We have the excellent Ropetrick guesting, with an opening acoustic set from London-based Catherine Ashby.

As always you can get £2 tickets in advance - http://www.wegottickets.com/event/49356 Please note tickets will come off sale on the day of the gig, as we have to print off the list, so book early to avoid disappointment.

We'd like to thank everyone who is supporting these events, especially the regulars who come every month.

OMF Review
The current edition of Oxfordshire Music Scene includes a live review of us at The Jericho. For those of you who haven't picked up a copy yet, or live outside Oxford, you can download a copy below. We're on Page 10.

New Material
'Unrepentant' has been temporarily withdrawn from the set, as we weren't 100% happy with the chorus. With a slight change in rhythm and feel on the chorus, we feared the languid skyscrapers of harmony needed erecting on a more solid Hispanic New Wave disco foundation of the galloping variety. We should have it ready for the next Jericho night. We've got an abundance of new stuff that we're currently working on. A creatively rich time for the band.

Recording
We're hoping to get back in the studio with Superloose Nige over the coming weeks to lay down another track.

It could be You!

This month's lucky winner of the Silvanito prizedraw is Karen.
Don't forget everyone on our mailing list gets automatically entered each month, so don't miss out, make sure you're signed up. (http://www.shirleymusic.co.uk)

A lot of People have been asking us...

Whether they should be concerned with the current outbreak of swine flu? Quite frankly the media-fuelled hysteria is starting to get quite annoying, contributing to a growing fear that will make a few people very rich in today's crumbling economy. The last time swine flu reared its head in the states was in 1976 and it led to a massive vaccine campaign, which led to more people dying from the vaccine than from the flu itself. Remember all the hype about H5N1 bird flu, predicted to kill millions worldwide? The reality is that the virus killed a mere 257 people worldwide since late 2003. In fact you were about 2,300 percent more likely to be killed by a lightning strike! If it's something highly infectious on a global scale that you're after, look no further that the new pandemic known as Silvanito!

Achoo.
