Silvanito Nights @ The Jericho Tavern
Our next night at The Jericho Tavern is Sunday 28th June. We have relative newcomers Music For Pleasure guesting, with an opening acoustic set from Ruskin Bob. As always, you’ll find both in our top friends on MySpace. Music starts at 8.15 pm and the night finishes by 11.00 pm. Advance tickets at just £2 are available from wegottickets - http://www.wegottickets.com/event/51144. Please note tickets will come off sale on the day of the gig, as we have to print off the list, so book early to avoid disappointment.

We’d like to thank everyone who is supporting these events, especially the regulars who come every month.

The Children Of Helen House
We’re delighted to be returning to Helen House to do a gig for the children and staff there. For those who don’t know, Helen House was the world's first children's hospice, opening in November 1982 and provides respite and end of life care in a supportive and positive environment. The last time we played there was a really uplifting experience for us.

New Material
'Unrepentant Man’ is now firmly back in the set, having undergone intensive surgery, where we devoted an entire rehearsal to pinning it. The track is even stronger now and we believe a strong contender for the most hooks in a song under 2 mins 30 ever penned.

It could be You!

This month’s lucky winner of the Silvanito prizedraw is Royce Ullah.
Everyone on our mailing list gets automatically entered each month.

A lot of People have been asking us...

What inspired recent addition to the set Headful of Stars? The long is loosely based on a ghost story from Seville, which tells of the tragic love affair between Paulo the horse-hand and the youngest daughter of the house of Cartiez. Upon discovering the affair, her enraged father banished poor Paulo from the city. Heartbroken and in a fit of despair, Paulo rode himself and his trusted steed off the summit of the Aracena hills. On moonlit nights, when clouds pass over, many locals today believe it is the giant cape of Paulo’s ghost riding through the sky blotting out the light and claim to hear melancholic neighing in the distance. Time signature enthusiasts will be interested to learn that the song is in 3 / 4.
